April marks Donate Life Month, a time to recognize the profound impact of organ, eye and tissue donation while reinforcing the critical role healthcare professionals play in saving lives. LifeGift invites you to join us in raising awareness and advocating for the thousands of patients awaiting life-saving transplants.

More than 10,000 Texans are currently on the transplant waiting list, relying on the dedication of clinical teams and donor families to offer them a second chance at life. This month provides an opportunity to educate colleagues, engage in discussions about best practices in donation and transplantation and support initiatives that enhance donation outcomes. We also will be recognizing the clinical teams continuing their dedicated work during this time to help honor the gift of donation and save the lives of those waiting for a second chance at life.
