LifeGift Meets with Members of OrganAnalytics

LifeGift welcomed members of the OrganAnalytics organization from Tampere University in Finland. OrganAnalytics is working to increase organ viability for transplant after recovery by developing technology that provides data on the tissue degradation and functionality of an organ as it is being transported for surgery. While visiting LifeGift, our teams discussed innovative ways to care for an organ after it has been recovered but prior to transplant in order to increase utilization of donated organs.
