During the Expo, LifeGift presented on the Matador Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium, an exclusive platform for a select few entities to unveil their groundbreaking innovation projects. The Matador Consortium is at the forefront of leveraging unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology to revolutionize organ transportation. The Matador UAS Consortium research aims to mitigate risks to biological materials and streamline organ transfer through efficient use of drones in dedicated flight corridors that are not heavily impacted by conventional air traffic limitations.
